Cook Mania was born out of a simple frustration that every Egyptian home cook knows too well — you want to cook something real, something that tastes like it took hours, but life doesn't give you those hours anymore.
We watched the people we love come home exhausted, standing in front of the stove at 8pm trying to decide between a proper home-cooked meal and something quick that they'd feel guilty about. The problem wasn't skill or desire. It was time. And the one thing that makes the biggest difference to any dish — a proper, slow-cooked stock — is also the one thing that takes the longest to make.
So we asked ourselves: what if that part was already done?
